The Holiday Season begins!

I love everything about Christmas. The countdown, the family dinners and most of all the decorations. This is officially going to be the first Christmas I celebrate in England…and they say its going to snow this year….Oh La La! I am so looking forward for a White Christmas!

Meanwhile I am counting down the days with one Christmas Movie at a time….and I am so glad I decided to begin with Klaus.

When Smeerensburg’s new postman, Jesper, befriends toymaker Klaus, their gifts melt an age-old feud and deliver a sleigh full of holiday traditions.

Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones, Will Sasso, J.K. Simmons, and Neda Margrethe Labba in Klaus (2019)

❤️A true, selfless act always sparks another – A message that stands out precisely as we progress through this movie. It encourages the act of gifting, sharing and being kind to each other which results in new bonds formed and old differences forgotten. It is a wonderful messages attached  for children and adults alike with all its festive vibes that it gives us. After all, that’s what Christmas is all about.

❤️The aesthetics in this movie is just on point, and will be a delight to return to. This movie has so easily become a classic for me.

Klaus (2019)

❤️ I liked how there is nothing very extra magical in this movie and it is just what it claims to be while still managing to be extra ordinary with the fairy tale vibes. It is a story explaining all about the origin of Christmas. All the characters in this movie are well developed, each with their own detailed backstories.

❤️ Jesper seems to be a spoiled rich brat that doesn’t care for others feelings and learns a lesson in compassion. The woodcutter finds his joy in life again and the teacher finally chooses to take her job seriously

Jason Schwartzman in Klaus (2019)

❤️ I loved how the children are also encouraged to not only be kind , but also be educated in order to communicate with Santa and get gifts.

Rating: ★★★★★

Overall, I loved how Klaus has set the bar high for all other Christmas Movies I am Planning to watch this year. An amazing Santa Origin Story added to the collection of Holiday Tales
