Vagabond | 2019

I love Thriller Dramas. This is my first On Air Drama and I finally understand the struggle of waiting for new episodes to go live.  ( IT SUCKS)

Also, now I don’t even know if there is going to be a sequel or not. There better be a sequel. :/

A mysterious plane crash kills over 211 civilians, including Cha Dal-gun’s  nephew. Determined to find out the truth behind the accident, Cha Dal-gun embarks on an investigation that leads him to a tangled web of corruption. His life intertwines with Go Hae-ri , a covert operative for the National Intelligence Service.

Does it need any more explanation of why I have been so excited for this K-Drama?:P  I adored him in Shining Inheritance and fell for him head over heels in Hwayugi. And ever since Vagabond, I confirm I am in love with Lee Seung Gi  AND WILL ALWAYS BE. *hearteyes*

  • The Scenes In Morocco.

The first few episodes shot in Morocco gave me absolute wanderlust cravings with its scenic beaches and cascade of houses with colorful roofs.

  • The Political Drama

Some of the major themes that Vagabond focuses on is Higher Authority Corruption and how it affects the public. Political Corruption is well portrayed and delivers the message precisely.

  • The Incompetent NIS Agents

The hideous mistakes and utter ignorance by the NIS Agents is just too disappointing. Dal-gun gets on a plane without anyone noticing, figures out whose the bad guy and gets on with the investigation without any particular police background. What are you NIS Agents even here for? Absolute disgrace!
And then most of the time their hands are tied down because of the government.Oh Well !

  • The Bad Guys Turn Good?

At a particular point in this series, the bad guys start being the good guys and you don’t know why you’re rooting for them in the first place and the good guys be the bad guys and then they keep changing roles. Uff! Poor Dal Gun!

  • The Romance.

It has its moments and the romance is ever so mushy and doesn’t fail to give you butterflies. I loved how Go Hae Ri always made sure her makeup is done right before she meets Dal Gun. Aww!

  • The  Absolute Cliffhanger

Even though this show was action packed and full of entertainment. I believe it falters in the last episode. I have a lot of unsolved questions yet and the ending is not in any means satisfying.
Its not really a sad ending but its not a happy ending either. Rather, it feels incomplete. I hope we do get to see more of them in the future.

Overall, Vagabond will keep you thrilled and at the edge of your seat in hopes that Dal Gun aka the angel face man gets his justice and the bad guys finally get caught until you reach the end only to  realize Vagabond turns out to be that ex who seemed promising and exciting at first but fails to action their  intentions.
If you know I mean. πŸ˜›
