Finally watched Chhichhore. Heard a lot of good things about this movie. And ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise I really wanted to watch one of his movies. I remember watching Kai Po Che and really loving it, hence I thought it would be nice to deliberately pick up one of his movies.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

A tragic incident forces Anirudh, a middle-aged man, to take a trip down memory lane and reminisce his college days along with his friends, who were labelled as losers.
THOUGHTS
THE VALUE OF LIFE
The main theme of this movie revolves around suicide and giving up on life because you can’t accept failure. Based on current circumstances of Sushant Rajput’s alleged suicide , it felt ironic to receive this particular message. However, I found the message really powerful and a rather important one in today’s day and age.

COLLEGE
I guess the reason I loved this movie more is because it reminded me of the fun I had when I was in college. My college friends are some of the best friends I still have and can fall back on in time of need. So this really hit home.
It shows how small things like a college competition can mean so much more where you lose sight of the bigger picture called life. Saying that, it also emphasized how these incidents can shape your perspective of life and can stay with you for ever.
I remember obsessing over college festivals and unwanted rivalries that mean barely anything when it comes to actually succeeding in life.

FRIENDSHIP
The friendship portrayed in this movie, is goals and something I am lucky to have. They aren’t just background props for the hero but play a huge part in the movie. The bond of friendship is so pure and I love how well this movie captures that relationship

Rating: ★★★★★
Overall, This movie reminded me of 3 Idiots and I promise, you will enjoy this. After all, college has the power to make anyone nostalgic.
