I honestly was skeptical of watching a movie that had Emraan Hashmi as a lead because I usually never enjoyed his acting before. However, with the recent demise of Rishi Kapoor and this movie marketed as a Spanish Thriller remake. I was kinda intrigued and wanted to give this a try.
I mean, I loved Durante La Tormenta and La Casa de Papel and they are both Spanish made. So yeah ! 😛
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
When the body of a powerful businesswoman disappears from the morgue, the inspector in charge hunts for the truth. But when he questions her husband he realizes that there is much more to the case than meets the eye.

THE PLOT TWIST
Okay! Because it is a thriller I really thought this whole movie could either be a total flop for me or a hidden gem. I found some major loopholes in the ending and how it was executed. :/ And I am kind of disappointed.
The way the investigation is carried out is absolutely nonsensical.
SUPERNATURAL VIBE
Then, we also have a supernatural vibe to it at the beginning which is executed with such poor acting. Because obviously! We have a dead body missing. I seen the trailer for the original movie though and it played like a thing that haunts him and not a ghostly vibe. maybe the background music and the tone the movie sets.
POOR ACTING
I know I already mentioned this, but I feel the story had so much potential and could have been better with good acting and realistic scenes. Even the songs felt so unnecessary like majority of these Bollywood Movies. :/
I am probably going to be extra skeptical with choosing to watch Hindi Thriller Movies hence forth . Especially after watching the disaster like movie which I reviewed recently – Mrs Serial Killer.

Overall, This movie ends in a very hopeful note. It’s thought provoking and has delivered an important message that is much needed for society to prevail.
