Needed a break from all the cliche romance and had to pick up something more thrilling. Here is an advice, Nightmare Teacher gets creepier if you’re watching this with the lights off , at midnight under your blanket.But then, I am also easily scared so I don’t know. This is more like a psychological thriller with a supernatural element.

The plot revolves around an interesting concept where the counselling teacher knows what the students problem is already and “helps” them in his own spooky way. The 12 Episode series has six interrelated stories that will not only keep you entertained but also teach you a few important lessons.
It revolves around typical school kid wants of getting the best grades, being popular , being powerful and being adored for your looks.
HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?
I like how the teachers plays with their wants and desperation. It makes you wonder how far will you go to gain something you badly want. Would you strive and work for it or turn into a monster and spare no evil in order to gain it?
COMPARISON
One constant reminder in this book is how these kids were constantly comparing them selves to the others and developed jealousy to the ones that did better, bullied the ones that were not and pushed themselves to being insecure with all their negative thoughts. Especially the one story with the girl wanting to be the most popular and pretty kid in school. And the fact was, she was already popular and pretty but couldn’t stand the spotlight shifting to someone else.
UNIQUE PLOT BUT REMINDS YOU OF A LOT OF OTHER SERIES
While this had such a unique plot and instantly stands out to the other KDramas I have watched so far. The last episode which is the most thrilling reminded me a lot of the book Coraline by Neil Gaimen, The One with the girl that want have a boyfriend and weaves her own lies reminds me a lot of Death Note with the Diary, We also had time loops and the stories went on to be repetitive with their ending even though it did teach you an important lesson.
TEACHER’S BACKSTORY
I would have really liked to see the Teacher’s Back story and who is he and why is he doing this.. Maybe, how is he connected to this school. There is nothing on him and I wished there was!
MUSIC
The music plays a major part of creating that atmospheric vibe in this series and I loved how catchy the melody is.

Overall, Nightmare Teacher is worth the watch for it’s unique plot and the message it strives to deliver. Also, with each episode being just 15 minutes long, the series can be binged and finished in one sitting.
