I am so glad I chose to watch Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal. I find South Indian Movies so underrated compared to some of their story lines. I am making a note of watching more movies that aren’t originally filmed in English or Hindi.
This one was absolutely brilliant and entertaining!
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Two youth who work with the masks of application developer and animation engineer but actually earn their money from online shopping scams and other thefts. They come across two girls whom they fall in love with and decide to take their entire life savings to have a fresh start in Goa.
THOUGHTS
I went into this story without reading any reviews which was a really good decision. Since,apart from knowing these guys are conning the girls everything else comes as a major plot twist and I would not want to ruin anything for you by giving spoilers.
What starts as a cute love story ends up in a heist and their quest in getting away with the biggest heist is fun to watch and has its funny moments.
The movie is interesting in terms of its story line and how they have maintained the suspense until the end. Even though it’s a heist the comedy is evident which makes this a blockbuster. The police weren’t too dumb, and I love the criminal mindset at work.
There is a bit of a romance as well and all the actors have done an amazing job.

Overall, This movie is extremely engaging with the numerous plot twists. A few of the heist scenes are a bit too much but do seem as a possibility even though a bit too illogical on second thoughts. However, I Highly Recommend to watch this one as it’s worth the 2.5 hours.
