HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The new year brings with it hope and an opportunity to set some new goals and I will like to use this time to do just that. 😛
It’s only been a little more than 6 months into blogging for me. And although I have failed to remain consistent for most of it, I am hoping to change that in 2020. 😀 We are now a family of 77 already and hopefully that will be a three digit number by the end of this year 😛
I never really did have any “fandom” goals until now, apart from the usual Good reads Challenge, which I am pleased to share – I have accomplished my good reads goal for 2019 a few days ago with a total of 72 books. Woohoo!
So without further ado – let’s begin with the 2020 Fandom Goals!
BOOKS
I am hoping to read a total of 52 Books this year. Approximately one book a week seems doable and will help me focus on bigger books on my TBR.
Apart from that, I want to finish at least 5 series as a mandatory goal every year now on.
I am obviously going to indulge in reading challenges, however that’s not what I want to focus on this year.
K-DRAMA
I have a goal of reviewing at least 2 K-Drama Series every month.
This means I would have to watch 24 series this year. Hopefully, I am not being overly ambitious with this one. 😛
TV SERIES
To be honest I rarely watch TV- Series as compared to K-Dramas. However, with Money Heist Season 4 coming in April and a ton of Asian Series in my radar I am super thrilled!
So, Let’s just say a total of 12 seasons will be my goal for the upcoming year. That makes it to 1 season to review every month.
Movies
Usually, I watch about 4 movies a month and will like to maintain that for this year and will try and review 4 movies every month as well which makes it to a total of 48 Movies by the end of the year.
ANIME
I am a newbie when it comes to Anime. But from what I have seen so far I have realized I enjoy it. And, will therefore try and focus to watch at least one Anime Movie and Series each month which makes it to a total of 12 Anime Movies and 12 Anime Series (Seasons) by the end of the year.
Fandom
Along with reviews, I want this blog to be a platform of sharing my fan girl moments by writing fan fiction, or obsessing over a favorite character and so on. I haven’t thought it all out but I am looking at about a minimum of 24 Fan Girl Posts by the end of the year.
blog goals
I am looking at putting as much free time and energy possible into this blog this year and hopefully will be able to gain more audience to approach publishers for review copies and so on.
The main goal this year is to stay consistent and I’ll be doing that by sharing a post every Mon- Wed & Fri! Apart from these days, I am going to do a rare post on a Sat or a Sunday depending on my mood since this was solely created for fun 😛
Apart from that I need to do some self promotion on my social media platforms and shall need to fix a posting schedule for the same.If everything goes well, it will be Tues- Thurs & Sat!
These are all the mandatory things I will be doing in the following year. I might end up doing a few readathons and challenges and stuff like that but I am not tying that with a goal because I want that to still be a fun and spontaneous element of my fangirling journey.
I might end up doing a quarterly update on my goals to make sure I am on track though!
