So, I am celebrating Christmas in UK this year, and I have come to realize Britishers have a tradition of counting down to Christmas with Advent Calendars, which is super cool because who doesn’t like to eat a little sweet or get a little gift everyday? Why is this not a more popular tradition or Have I been living under a rock?
Meanwhile, I am doing my own version of advent calendars this year by watching movies that brings with it Christmas vibes.
Today I come to you with an amazing short film – Angela’s Christmas
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Set in Ireland in the 1910s, ‘Angela’s Christmas’ is a funny, heart-warming and poignant story about the power of family and the innocent desire of a child to ensure everyone is safe, warm and loved at Christmas time.
THOUGHTS
❤️Only being 30 minutes long, this movie packs a powerful message of empathy, family values and most importantly the purpose of Christmas.
❤️A heartwarming tale based around a little girl’s perspective of spreading joy and warmth to everybody is just so pure and innocent. This movie made me cry happy tears!
❤️Like every other Christmas I have watched this year, this too reinforces the value of family and loved ones around us . The story is short yet crisp in its message
❤️Angela’s Christmas is an Anime set in the early 1900’s just around the first World War, so no it isn’t very aesthetically pleasing compared to the other movies. However, worth a watch !

Overall, It is an amazing Story based around Christmas and I shall add it to my collection of Holiday Tales to watch again!
